Yes. Free freelancers can create, edit, correct, and upload their professional profile at any time. The profile remains private until an eligible paid plan is active.
Freelancers with an active Focus or Scale subscription can publish or unpublish their profile. When paid access ends, the profile content remains editable but is removed from public discovery.
Free includes 3 monthly applications and 3 company job posts. Focus includes 20 applications, 10 job posts, and 10 freelancer contact requests. Scale includes 50 applications, 30 job posts, and 30 contact requests. A freelancer can keep only one active job application with the same company at a time.
The hiring company controls screening, interviews, status changes, and the final decision. RateBoard records those updates, shows them in the application timeline, and notifies the candidate when action is taken.
Paid plans renew monthly or yearly according to the selected cadence. You can cancel before renewal, keep paid access through the current billing period, and stop the next charge. Usage allowances reset every month, including on yearly plans.
No. Private messages are visible only to the connected participants. Public Painboard discussion remains separate, and private chat opens only after a valid application, direct hiring request, or accepted connection.
